I am a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and art director. I began my career in graphic design and now work as a tattoo artist, while I continue to create work as a fine artist.

The mix of structure, connection, and exploration between these disciplines is what keeps me moving between different creative spaces and it has informed my style and approach to everything I create.

In terms of style, I love portraits, capturing people or moments in pop culture or in my own life that feel personal. I love to explore the boundary between compelling realism and offset it with surrealism. I’m fascinated by the space between reality and imagination. There’s a scene from a movie that has always stuck with me: after a tragic event, the main character copes by drifting into a cartoon world of his own making. The film was one of the first to seamlessly blend live-action actors with animation, and it completely amazed me. That sense of merging worlds continues to inspire my work – I strive to create art that captures the feeling of “the world in between”.
